Production process of ordinary shaped pipes (commonly used for carbon steel/galvanized)
1. Raw material preparation
Choose hot-rolled strip steel, cold-rolled strip steel, or welded pipe round tube
Open, strip, rust, and polish according to specifications
2. Molding process (two mainstream routes)
① Direct forming of welded pipes (most common)
Strip steel feeding
Continuous bending forming: gradually bending the steel strip into a tubular shape through multiple sets of rollers
High frequency welding: weld seam fusion
Sizing/shaping: pressing round pipes into square pipes, rectangular pipes, and irregular pipes
Cutting to a fixed length
② Round tube transformation and extraction molding (for complex and irregular shapes)
Circular tube feeding
Acid washing/lubrication
Cold drawing/bending: Using a mold to pull round tubes into irregular cross-sections (elliptical, D-shaped, plum blossom tube, etc.)
alignment
3. Intermediate processing
Deburring and trimming ports
Correct straightness
Welding seam polishing/flaw detection (optional)
4. Surface treatment
Black pipe (not handled)
Cold galvanizing/hot-dip galvanizing (rust prevention)
Spray painting, spray painting (furniture pipes, decorative pipes)
5. Inspection, packaging, and warehousing
Dimensional inspection, straightness, appearance
Packaging, bundling, and leaving the factory
